Pacific Islands to get new Satellite Feed

Testing has starting on a new Satellite to deliver Hope Channel to the Pacific Islands. Due to the decommissioning of a Satellite in 2009, the Pacific Islands have been without a High Powered Hope Channel signal. Although Hope Channel is still available in the Pacific, it can currently only be picked up of very large dishes of 7 metre's or larger. Hope Channel International has selected the NSS9 satellite as the new provider for this region. Before the contracts are to be signed a 7 day test period has started to make sure the signal will be available to the smaller 3 metre dishes. If this test is successful then broadcast will start by mid March.
